The Natural History Museum is one of three other museums the is situated along Exhibition Road in South Kensington. Again, with free admission, but you have the option of donating money to one of the donation boxes that are at the entrance of the museum.
This museum is only a short walk from South Kensington underground station, and you can get here by the District, Circle and Piccadilly lines. There are also cycle parking facilities outside of the museum. It is not advisable to drive to this location as there is limited parking in the area, and you will find that if you do find a space, it will be quite expensive.
The museum is home to some 70 million articles belonging to five main categories - botany, mineralogy, paleontology, zoology and entomology. It is especially famous for its paleontology, the Natural History museum is the home of Dippy, the famous 105 foot long replica Diplodocus.
