Hyde Park, considered as one of the largest green spaces in London, contains the infamous Diana Memorial Fountain, built in July 2004 to commemorate her death, and more importantly her life and attracts over a million visitors every year.
Covering over 350 acres, with not only a lake and horse rides but also over 4,000 trees, there has never been a more peaceful and fitting place to have her memorial. It is open daily from 5am until midnight, and being a public park, it is obviously free.

After you have visited the memorial, you could take a long and thoughtful wander around the park and take advantage of the many facilities it has to offer. With a playground and an education center for the kids, as well as, disabled friendly amenities, and toilets, it a suitable trip out for anyone.
During the Summer, (between April and September) you could also sit down on one of the many deck chairs laid out and watch the rest of the world hurry by.

Not only that, but once you have finished in this beautiful park, you could take a short trip to Kensington Palace, the official residence of Diana, Princess of Wales until her unfortunate death in 1997.
