The first stop on this day trip from London is Henry VIII's magnificent riverside palace, Hampton Court, remodeled by Sir Christopher Wrens, with the south and east fronts modeled in the beautiful baroque style, creating the "English Versailles". The outstanding Palace was also home to both George II and William III. Take a step back in time to see the state apartments of Henry III, including the Great Hall and Chapel Royal.

Steeped in history and heritage the area of England known as the Cotswolds is a charming blend of cottages with honey-colored walls and thatched roofs, market towns with crooked half-timbered houses lining the High Street, and ancient stone crosses, all set in the gently rolling hills ("wolds") that are so typically English in character.

The Cotswolds landscape has been shaped by its long history as a center of wool production, your tour takes you through some picturesque villages including Burford, Bourton on the Water and Broadway, where you'll see crooked little houses, leaning walls and gabled cottages, and surprisingly large Market squares harking back to the area's importance in the wool trade. It is here you will stop for lunch in one of England's most outstanding areas of natural beauty.

The magnificent park and gardens of Blenheim Palace are set in over 754 hectares of land, with 7 themed gardens including the water garden reminiscent of the grand chateaux of France and Italy, the Secret Garden with its unusual trees and shrubs, the Italian Garden with its mermaid fountain and the very English Rose Garden.
