Map of London Marble Arch tube station
Marble Arch is the large marble arch that stands in the centre of a roundabout at the end of Oxford Street. Most visitors think it is bigger than it is, but then they've probably seen the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, which is.
Just over the road (if you don't get flattened by a speeding taxi) is Hyde Park and Speakers Corner, where just about everyone and their dog can get on their soap box and preach. Heckling is a favorite sport, but as most of the speakers aren't really very interesting, you probably won't bother to heckle for long.
